What happens if you are ill on the wedding day?
How many hours do you cover on a wedding day?
I have never had a set amount of hours for a wedding day with the full day package, I just think it's important to offer some flexibility as timings can differ quite a bit. There are a few things I like to do though. Firstly I love capturing some time with you both before the ceremony, so I normally allow 90mins with each of you. So for example if your ceremony time is about 1pm then I will often start about 9:30am (factoring in a bit of travel time)
Then finish time is normally between 9-10pm (I put 9pm on the contract) I do feel it's so important to capture some awesome dancing photos, so I have never been one to do a disappearing act straight after the first dance.
I am in a network of photographers, so if I was ill and not in a fit state to photograph your wedding, I would source a another photographer, who I feel to be of similar standard.
What do we need to do to secure a date?
To secure a date there is simply a booking form to complete and sign, along with a £250 deposit.
If we buy an album, do we select the images?
I will put together the album myself selecting images that I feel work well and tell the story of the day. I will always show couples a copy of the draft version and let them make any alterations before ordering. Most of the time couples really like the design and how it tells the story of the day and there are very few alterations to make. For a bit more information on albums take a look at the Albums page.
What does photo editing include?
I am always keen to deliver the best images possible to clients. I make sure colours are consistent and skin tones look natural as they can. I am not into retouching people’s faces, because who am I to decide that a person’s face needs retouching in the first place.
Do you take formal group shots?
How long does it take to receive the photos?
Yes I do, I try to keep them simple and get them done quick, as it can be hard to get people away from the bar after the ceremony.
I will normally deliver your images in 4 weeks from the date of your wedding, although it can be quicker depending if I am in the busy season or not.
If we choose to have a pre wedding shoot when are these done?
Pre wedding shoots are normally done within a couple of months of the wedding date.
