This was a wedding I will never forget. I think most couples dream about having that perfect summer's day wedding, where the sky is blue and the evenings are warm. But this wedding was on a whole new level......it was HOT!! The day started off at a cute little cottage where Hannah and her bridesmaids were getting ready. It was 10am in the morning and it was already 30 degrees. Everyone had serious concerns about frizzy hair! even me.
When I arrived at Hazel gap barn, Tom and the guests were trying to think of inventive ways to cool themselves down before the ceremony. I kept on seeing people disappear off to the carpark to sit in their air conditioned car for a few minutes and cool down. Pretty good idea if you ask me. It was a beautiful wedding day, with lots of emotions during the ceremony and speeches. Hannah and Tom are such a fun couple, so it was so nice to see everyone looking so happy for them.
The evening was amazing, everyone was so hot and sticky, that they couldn't face going inside. So instead, they brought the music outdoors and everyone danced in the courtyard. It was a pretty amazing end to a wedding, so despite it being about 37 degrees, it created a very unique wedding day.

I love this sequence of photos below, it's amazing what terror a wasp can create among people. Normally my favourite photos are the most unexpected ones.
